Red Classroom

The Red Classroom was sponsored by George’s Children of the World at US$2000 per year. They have been sponsoring this classroom from 2019. We are looking for a new sponsor for 2021 and the sign will be updated.

The Red Classroom is the first classroom of the main school building at Choice, adjacent to the Kindergarten. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Several of our Teachers are undertaking Teaching Degrees at weekends in Phnom Penh, funded by CHOICE. The teacher in Red classroom is Lyda.

Purple Classroom

The Purple Classroom was sponsored by Mike Lyons of DSI in England at US$2000 per year. They sponsored this classroom for 2019 and 2020. This classroom is our computer classroom and the teacher is Lyda. We are looking for a sponsor for this classroom for 2021.
The Purple Classroom is the 8th and last classroom of the main school building at Choice, located after the Pink Classroom. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Several of our Teachers are undertaking Teaching Degrees at weekends in Phnom Penh, funded by CHOICE.

Pink Classroom

The Pink Classroom was sponsored by Rotary Club of Euroa at US$2000 per year. They sponsored this classroom for 2019-2020. We are looking for a new sponsor for this classroom in 2021. This room is a utility room it serves as our Library and conference room, we also use it for grading students. One on one exams between Teacher and the student..

The Pink Classroom is the 7th classroom of the main school building at Choice, located after the Blue Classroom and before the Purple Classroom. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Several of our Teachers are undertaking Teaching Degrees at weekends in Phnom Penh, funded by CHOICE.

Blue Classroom

The Blue Classroom was sponsored by Rotary Club of Claremont at US$2000 per year for 2019-2020. The teacher for this classroom is Srey Nak. The Blue room is now sponsored by Narrabeen Community for 2021. The driving force behind this group is Leanne Balkin, she first came to Cambodia to volunteer with Choice in 2011 and has been back and forth filling a passport with stamps, helping with fundraising and volunteering on many projects. The major sponsor for Narrabeen Community is largely from Krusty’s Bakery owned by Joe who opens on Christmas day to serve coffee for donations only, with half of the money going to Choice. Narrabeen Community have been helping support Choice for many years with raffles fundraisers, Bunning’s BBQ, play ground, baby wear and many more. (a new sign will be added soon)

The Blue Classroom is the 6th classroom of the main school building at Choice, located after the Green Classroom. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Several of our Teachers are undertaking Teaching Degrees at weekends in Phnom Penh, funded by CHOICE.

Kindergarten

The Kindergarten is sponsored by George’s Children of the World at US$2000 per year. They have been sponsoring this classroom from 2019 and onwards. The teacher is Srey Tak Kim.

The Kindergarten is located between the main entrance wall and the main school building at Choice. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Several of our Teachers are undertaking Teaching Degrees at weekends in Phnom Penh, funded by CHOICE.

Yellow Classroom

The Yellow Classroom was sponsored by Michelle Crew for 2019/20. Now it is sponsored by John Michael at US$2000 per year. He is sponsoring this classroom from 2021. The sign will be updated.

The teacher for this classroom is Kunthea, yellow Classroom is the 3rd classroom of the main school building at Choice, located after the Orange Classroom and before the Citrus Classroon. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Several of our Teachers are undertaking Teaching Degrees at weekends in Phnom Penh, funded by CHOICE.

Orange Classroom

The Orange Classroom is sponsored by Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell at US$2000 per year. They are sponsoring this classroom from 2019 through 2021 though the sign needs to be updated.

The Orange Classroom is the 2nd classroom of the main school building at Choice, located after the Red Classroom. A years sponsorship is to help cover some of the running costs for the classroom, stationary, utilities, room furnishings and part of the Teachers salary and her training fees. Citrus Classroom

The Citrus Classroom is sponsored by John and Ali Barne from Oxford, U.K. at US$2000 per year. They have sponsored this classroom from the beginning in 2019, 2020 and 2021. (Sign will be updated)

The Citrus Classroom, sometimes referred to as the lime room is the 4th classroom of the main school building at Choice, located after the Red, Orange and Yellow classrooms. So it is one of the two most central classrooms together with the Green classroom.

The current teacher for this classroom is Srey Mo. She lives close to Choice School. She joined Choice in 2018. She started as a kindergarten teacher and was promoted to grade 1 teacher in early 2020. She loves working with young students. CHOICE pays for a Teacher Training course for Mo, so she can gain a degree in Teaching. She does this at weekends in Phnom Penh. Ali Barne is a fully qualified teacher in the U.K. and she has given Mo some additional training in the Citrus Classroom during February 2020.
