Rudi

Retired cinematographer hailing from New York, and currently residing in Phnom Penh. Rudi is a certified EMB-B (Emergency Medical Technician) providing basic health care first aid to people in need. He coordinates all medical assistance to the homeless and villagers during our routine visits. Rudi is the Chairman of CHOICE.

Ross

 Ross Wright headshot

A self funded retiree from Geelong Australia. Ross is the remaining founder of CHOICE arriving in Phnom Penh in 2005. He was actively involved in feeding the scavengers at the Steung Meanchey rubbish dump before its closure. Ross is Secretary of CHOICE and is in charge of  the Village trips.

Mark

Mark  has worked in Holland as a cook and now he only spends a couple of months a year their working as a clown, juggler, balloon twister and performs some magic. For the rest of the year he enjoys the weather and the people in Cambodia and occasionally entertains the children at the Village with his skills.

Angela
Angela

A popular Cambodian radio host and DJ, Angela is a valuable member of CHOICE and her local knowledge and insight are imperative in delivering the right services to the needy. Angela was the Founder of our Villages, and she is our Public Relations Officer.

Kevin

Kevin is a teacher at Panasastra University. He has lived in Phnom Penh since 2005  and has been actively involved in CHOICE as a volunteer and fund raiser for over a year. “I teach fortunate children during the week and I try to help the forgotten kids at the weekend”.

Richard

Richard is from the UK and has lived in Cambodia since 2007. He has worked in the advertising and marketing industry,  including a year and a half as a travel journalist and photographer.

Mick

 
Michael is based in London and is the Director of Inspiracion, his company organized our Registration, Michael helps us with our needs in the UK. He has been a volunteer with us in the Village and is a keen supporter in helping the needy of Cambodia.

Arne

Arne is an entrepreneur from Hamburg in Germany running his own Internet company. He visited us in 2010 and supports us since then. Arne is a founder of a non-profit-association called CHOICE CAMBODIA GERMANY in 2012 together with Michael Wieland from Munich, for raising money and supporting our village center. They have the idea of going from sponsorship to entrepreneurship encouraging German entrepreneurs using Cambodia Labour but for fair prices and setting up a sustainable existence for the Cambodian kids in the Village Centers.

Steve

Steve Murray is a business man and musician from Manchester England. Following the tragic loss of his 19 year old daughter, Georgia, in a heart operation in November 2010, he travelled substantially and pledged to return to Cambodia to try improve the lives  of  some of the poorest children in the world; he joined CHOICE in December 2011. Steve intends to spend 6 months “on the ground” in Cambodia, and 6 months fund raising back home.

THE  STAFF

Kunthea

 

Kunthea is a local from Phnom Penh, she is a nurse and has been assisting our medical team on Village trips since early 2010. Her english is very good so she also helps us with translation.
