If you want to visit or volunteer at an Orphanage in Cambodia please be aware that an estimated 97% of children in Orphanages in Cambodia are not Orphans. Some organisations have found that it is up to eight times more expensive to keep a child in an Orphanage than it is to house them with their families at home. We also believe there are very few that are genuine.
